After a blockbuster night of games in the NHL in the second day of 2018, there are only two games for NHL gambling on the schedule for January 3rd, 2018.

We have two options for NHL gambling on January 3rd, 2018. The Blackhawks vs. the Rangers or the Senators vs. the Red Wings. Were taking the Ottawa Senators over the Detroit Red Wings.

It’s a meeting of two pretty bad teams, but one has to win. And we’re going with the team that desperately has something to prove in the New Year. Hint: It ain’t Detroit.

Bet Of The Night

The Ottawa Senators are bad. So why take them on the road? Because it’s the Detroit Red Wings, a team that’s equally just as bad as the Ottawa Senators. The only difference is that the Senators have a point to prove.

After losing 5-0 to the Boston Bruins on the last game of 2017, the Senators are going to want to bounce back big time in 2018. Remember, this is a team that was a goal away from the Stanley Cup finals last year.

And if anything, the Detroit Red Wings have shown they’re vulnerable at home. Of their last five games they’ve won but two. On the season they sport a losing home record.

Stats So Far (0/1 Success)

We’re at a strong 0% right now. It looks bad, I know, but the sample size is minuscule, what with a single game. For our bet of the night on January 2nd, we picked the Florida Panthers over the Minnesota Wild on the road.

In hindsight, Minnesota’s great home record should have taken up more head space than it did. Cause the Wild went on to win the game 5-1. The thought behind taking Florida was riding the hot hand. They’d won five in a row before heading to Minni.
