It’s our first NHL gambling bet of 2018 and we’re going with surging road dogs Florida Panthers over the home team Minnesota Wild.

With a new year comes some new way of doing things. We aren’t going to change what we’re betting on. When it comes to our NHL gambling in our bets of the night we’re still trying to find you a live dog.

The difference is the record. We’re going to give you our wins-losses as we go. Cause, why would you trust us on blind faith?

Bet Of The Night

Our bet for January 2nd, is that the road team Florida Panthers get their sixth win in a row over the Minnesota Wild.

fla[+110] Last 10: 6-3-1, Road Record: 7-10-2, Form:

FLA 3-2 ARI FLA 4-2 MIN FLA 1-0 OTT FLA 3-2 PHI FLA 2-0 MTL

min[-130] Last 10: 5-5-0, Home Record: 12-4-2, Form:

MIN 2-4 FLA MIN 0-3 TBL MIN 4-2 DAL MIN 4-2 NAS MIN 0-3 NAS

Admittedly the Wild are good at home. Over their last five their only two wins were at home. Over the course of the season they’re 12-4-2 at home. So there’s a reason they’re given the -130 odds.

Even though the Florida Panthers have gone five straight and taken out the very same Minnesota Wild in the process.

The Panthers have been impressive as they gain ground in the weak Atlantic division. They’ve limited their opponents to an average of less than two goals a game while scoring just about three. Shutting out both the Habs and the Sens in the process.

The Panthers are coming into this game rested and with the better team on form. Regardless of the Wild’s impressive home record, this is a road win for the Panthers.
