Your daily NHL gambling bet of the night is ready. Tonight we’re placing our money on the Vancouver Canucks taking the two points from the Carolina Hurricanes.

If you’re going to put some money on NHL gambling tonight, our suggestion is to put your resources down on the Vancouver Canucks winning tonight.

The Vancouver Canucks have been impressive this season. Not because they’re winning the division or even one of the best teams in the league. At 13-10-4 they aren’t even a 0.500 team. But they also aren’t the worst either.

When the season started we all figured that Jim Benning’s boys would once again be at the bottom of the Western Conference. A quarter way through the season and the Canucks are in a playoff spot. I know!

Tonight they welcome the Carolina Hurricanes to the Canadian west coast. The Canucks just finished a six-game east coast swing going 3-1-1 in the process. Now they started December at home and took two-points from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Opening line

That opening line has since walked down. At the time I put money down the Canucks had become the dog at +105. Looking at the Canucks home record it’s odd to think why that wasn’t the opening line. At 4-5-3 they aren’t a good home team. To be fair to the Canucks, the Hurricanes aren’t great on the road, going 5-5-2 this season.

The Canucks win tonight. After that successful road trip the twins, supported by rookie sensation Brock Boeser are going to do everything they can to continue that momentum.

Again, they already dispatched the second most productive offence in the league at home on Saturday. They’ll be able to do so to the corsi heavy but production thin Carolina Hurricanes.
