Ridin Pine Show NHL podcast is out with a new episode. This week the tenacious trio talk about the Matt Duchene three-way trade, Kerry Fraser, international games, and then they give you their picks for the games on Saturday during Lock, Dog, Parlay.

Just like every other NHL podcast out there, Ridin Pine Show spent a good amount of time talking about the Matt Duchene three-way trade between the Ottawa Senators, Nashville Predators, and Colorado Avalanche. It’s the biggest topic of the day so we’d be remised not to talk about it.

Especially because we’ve got an Ottawa fan amongst the ranks in Darcy “the Agent”. What the heck doe she think about this from an Ottawa perspective? It’s obviously a good thing. But are the Sens a cup contender now?

Our thoughts go out to one of the best refs to ever be on the ice. Kerry Fraser has been recently diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer. The man with the untouchable hairs was an absolute legend on the ice. But if there’s one thing that he hasn’t been able to shake, it’s “the call” or lack-thereof on a certain Waynesworth Gretzky. (I’m sure that’s his name).

We asked ourselves what is THE worst call that was ever made?

In “Stanley Stumpers”, our game where we try to get stump the Agents encyclopaedic knowledge of Stanley Cup winners. This week he almost slipped up. It took him till clue number five – of six – to get the answer right.
