Last nights NHL scores couldn’t have gone any better for our bet of the night. As the Winnipeg Jets did exactly as I thought they would. You’re welcome.
That’s what you get from Ridin’ Pine Show’s Bet Of The Night. A lack of memory when NHL scores don’t go our way and absolute smugness when they do!
Last night’s NHL scores fell just as we thought they would. At least when it came to the Winnipeg Jets vs. Dallas Stars.
We took Winnipeg to win over the Star. And even called for Patrik Laine to continue his run of form and score another goal. Sure enough, the Jets came up the winner by a score of 4-1 with Laine getting a goal. (And Scheifele nabbing three points).
There are six games on the NHL schedule for tonight. And some tasty NHL gambling picks ready for someone to make money on.
NHL gambling isn’t the easiest. There’s a ton of parity in the league. It’s not like the NBA where you know very clearly who are the top teams and who is in full tank mode.
We know the Arizona Coyotes are going to be bad this season. But they’ll still win 30 plus games by seasons end. Same goes for the expansion Vegas Golden Knights, once they get their goaltender situation resolved.
With all that being said I didn’t take Arizona or Vegas tonight. Even though both are +185 and +195 respectively. They’ll win games, but just not on the road. Not against two of what should be the better teams in the league.

The odds aren’t outstanding like that Arizona/Pittsburgh game. But the “new look” Predators after the Matt Duchene/Kyle Turris deal look outstanding.
They have great goalkeeping in Pekka Rinne, whos 0.930 SV% and 2.19 GAA to start the season. We already know about their amazing defensive depth with Roman Josi, P.K. Subban, Mattias Ekholm, and Ryan Ellis. And now they have an outstanding central spine with Ryan Johansen, Kyle Turris, Nick Bonino, and Colton Sissons.
Columbus is a good team with great depth as well. But Nashville is ready to win and with that trade, they’ll be energized to start doing so now.
